Before founding LabPi, Desikan spent eight years in laboratory informatics, first managing QC systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing, then leading digital transformation programs for clinical diagnostic networks. He started LabPi in 2020 with a simple conviction: the gap between what labs need and what lab software delivers had grown too wide to patch. It needed to be rebuilt from first principles.
